SONY HDCU-5500

The HDCU-5500 Camera Control Unit is designed for operation with the Sony HDC-5500 4K/HD system camera. It provides interfaces to external equipment and power supply to the camera in a compact, portable half rack width 3U form factor that’s ideal for OB production environments.

Features

  • Compact Design: Half-rack 3U CCU for HDC-5500 4K/HD studio cameras in OB trucks and live production.
  • UHB Fiber Transmission: Dual 4K lines up to 10km with HKCU-SM50 single-mode fiber; supports prompter/video in one hybrid cable.
  • Multi-Format Support: 4K 2x slo-mo, HD HFR 8x, 1080-4:4:4-RGB; internal 4K XAVC-I recording (up to 4 hours, USB/NAS export).
  • Interfaces: 12G-SDI/3G-SDI I/O, optional ST 2110 IP via HKCU-SFP50, IP Tally (TSL UMD v5.0), web-based remote control.
  • Compatibility: Backward-compatible with HDC-3500/3100 in 3G mode; rack-mountable (100-240V AC, -10°C to +40°C).
